Our Unwooded Chardonnay is modeled after the great, mineral scented, traditional wines of Chablis, with clear, pure, stainless-steel fermented fruit. At our first tasting, we were amazed at the impressive fruit scents. Time will tell how this classic varietal will express itself when grown in our young vineyard, but this first vintage is lovely and fruit-forward, with its bright lemon, apple, and pear flavors with the perfect balance between fruit and acid.
