You don’t have to be getting married at Verterra to host your rehearsal dinner or welcome party with us. The Ridge welcomes couples celebrating their weddings throughout Leelanau County and the greater Traverse City area.

Our vineyard setting provides a beautiful complement to a waterfront ceremony, historic inn, barn wedding, or another Northern Michigan wedding venue.

Planning Your Event

Rehearsal dinners and welcome parties are typically hosted on Friday evenings during our season from Memorial Day to mid-October

Events generally begin around 5:00 PM, with celebrations concluding by 9:00 PM. We can accommodate gatherings of up to 140 guests within our standard event configuration. Larger gatherings may be possible by special arrangement.

Our team will work with you to discuss your guest count, event format, catering plans, and beverage preferences.

Pricing & Availability

Rehearsal dinners and welcome parties at The Ridge start at $4,250 for 2028 events. Our venue packages include the reception tent, tables and chairs, event coordination, bartending, and the amenities needed to host a memorable evening among the vineyards. A 15% service fee supports the team responsible for preparing the venue, coordinating the event, bartending, and cleanup. Verterra wines and ciders are billed based on consumption, with a $750 minimum.
